The short version: you share your work history, an AI writes your resume and related documents, and you pay to copy or download them. We use your information to do that and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we are

MyResumeBio is run by SHORE AI LLC, based in Malibu, California ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@shore-ai.com.

What you give us, and what happens to it

• Your old resume, as a Word file, PDF, text or photos. Your browser opens the file. It sends the text, or the page images for a scan or photo, to an AI service so the AI can read it and fill in your details. Photos are shrunk first. We do not keep the files.
• Your details and your own words. What you type into the form is sent to the AI service so it can write your documents. Until then it stays in your browser.
• Your written resume. Your draft is held on our server for up to 24 hours so it can be unlocked after you pay. Then it is deleted automatically. Other documents in your package are sent to you when written and are not kept.
• Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a simple order record (the package you bought, what has been written, and an order number) for up to 90 days so your package works as promised.
• Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and basic request details. We use your IP address to limit abuse, such as too many requests in an hour. We do not log the contents of your resumes.

Who else handles it

• An AI service provider reads your files and writes your documents. We send only what is needed for that.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Our hosting provider runs the site.
• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces on the page, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They receive the page address without any query string, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Plausible uses no cookies; Google Analytics may set cookies. Neither receives what you type or upload.

Sensitive information

A resume can hold personal details such as your address, phone number and work history. Please share only what you want on the page. This site never asks for your Social Security number, date of birth or account numbers, and you should leave them off your resume.

Your choices

Because we keep so little, there is not much to ask for. You can email us to ask what we hold about an order, or to have it deleted, and we will respond promptly. If you live in California or another state with privacy rights, you may have additional rights, and you can use the same email to ask.

Security

We use encrypted connections and keep access to the site and its data limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we hold to a minimum.

Children

MyResumeBio is for adults and for people old enough to work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use what you give us, we will say so on the site.
